The mini world in Haraldvangen, Norway

9th to 11th of February 2007, my colleague Sushil and I went to Haraldvangen 2 hours drive from Oslo the capital city Norway, where we are living currently.

The programme was preparation seminar for the school project organized by FK or Fredskorpset Norway. We the FK participants from different parts of the world working in Norway gathered there to discuss on Millennium Development goals- MDGs and the North-South Issues. We also discuss about the Norwegian society, school systems and prepare the presentation for the School visit that we are going to do soon.

During the stay we did some extra activities, like Skiing, axe throwing, arrow, and scoter riding and many more. The most interesting part is, it was my first ski attempt, and I fell down many times. Actually not only me but most of the south participant were so excited for experience the ski in Norway, which we did. The temperature was minus 23 degree. There is a lake but that was frozen completely. We did ski over the frozen lake.

In fact it was wonderful opportunity to enjoy and learn some thing that I never experienced before. Here are some snaps of those wonderful moments I spend there; I just wanted to share with you. Just check it out, and do write the comment if you like.
